The FWS-2280 desktop network appliance brings power and flexibility to network deployments, whether it’s work from home or small offices. Featuring the Intel® Atom™ x6000E series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake) with Intel® AES-NI technology, the FWS-2280 is the perfect white box uCPE solution for a wide range of network applications including UTM, Firewall, SD-WAN, and more. The system comes standard with four copper Gigabit RJ-45 LAN ports, and one fiber SFP port.
The FWS-2280 offers expandability to power 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi networks thanks to its three Mini PCIe slots co-lay with M.2, providing additional flexibility for your network’s needs. The system features six antenna ports, allowing greater support for wireless networks and redundant power supply to provide uninterrupted service. Additionally, the FWS-2280 features a 2.5” SATA drive bay to help power local network storage needs, or power other network-based applications.
The FWS-2280 is powered by the latest Intel® Atom™ x6000E series processors, featuring key encryption and secure networking technology, including Intel® AES-NI and Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) ensuring fast, accurate and safe data transfer.
Expandable Network Capabilities
