Powered by the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra U/H Series Processors (formerly Meteor Lake), this AI-driven gateway efficiently analyzes groceries, detects products, and adds them to the cart, revolutionizing retail experiences for both customers and companies.
Advanced Hardware and AI for Next-Level Object Detection
The demo system is integrated with AAEON’s UP Squared Pro 710H single-board solution powered by the low-power Intel® Processor N97 Embedded CPU and Hailo-8 AI accelerator. It leverages Innodisk’s EV2M-GOM1 MIPI camera with integrated ISP to obtain high-quality data from a broader visual scope. The demo system delivers up to 26 TOPS of AI inferencing via its Hailo AI accelerator. Thanks to the low-power Intel® Processor N97 and Hailo AI accelerator, it ensures smooth processing speeds, eliminating latency even during complex algorithms.
In the demo, cameras capture images fed to the motherboard, where the Hailo inference model analyzes them in real time, providing instant object detection results displayed via HDMI. This application benefits various market segments where real-time object detection and analysis are crucial, including smart cities, retail, industrial automation, surveillance, and security.
Showcase of Upcoming Products
AAEON will also display new products featuring the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors Family (Codename: Meteor Lake). These processors boast significant advancements in AI and graphics performance, ideal for modern industrial applications. Stop by the booth to see the embedded computing boards PICO-MTU4 and GENE-MTH6, along with the industrial motherboard MIX-MTLD1. These products are currently in development and expected to be released later this year.
From the UP Bridge the Gap product line, AAEON will feature the UP Xtreme i14 and UP Squared 7100. The UP Xtreme i14, an industrial-grade maker board featuring the Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors Family and Intel® Arc™ Graphics engine, has just been announced for pre-order and is expected to begin shipping in July. The UP Squared 7100, not yet officially announced, will feature the Intel Atom® x7000 RE and x7000C Series Processors (Codename: Amston Lake) and will be the newest addition to the UP Squared family.
AI Systems with NVIDIA Processors
AAEON will also showcase two fanless embedded AI systems featuring the latest NVIDIA processors. The BOXER-8646AI features the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ and offers ten times the data transmission rate via 10G LAN and six times the AI performance, with up to 200 TOPS. The BOXER-8653AI, benefiting from the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX module, delivers up to 70 TOPS of AI inference performance, ideal for applications requiring extremely fast analysis of vast quantities of data.
