Featuring the new NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™, AAEON’s BOXER-8641AI fanless Box PC pushes edge AI potential to new heights. Combining the increased sophistication of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin with an incredibly durable chassis, the BOXER-8641AI opens the door to embedded solutions not previously possible. Applications such as autonomous vehicles previously required dedicated graphic cards in order to operate effectively. However, with real-time object detection, expedited data transmittance, and rugged elemental features, the BOXER-8641AI can instead bring the whole operation to the edge.

Combining an 8-core ARM v8.2 64bit CPU and NVIDIA Ampere architecture, the BOXER-8641AI harnesses the full potential of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, possessing 1792 CUDA® and 56 Tensor cores for up to 200 TOPS, offering up to 6 times the AI performance of its predecessor. The BOXER-8641AI’s processing speed and inferencing capability subsequently shifts object detection function from GPU cards directly to the edge, simplifying the deployment of autonomous logistics vehicle applications.

A wide temperature range of -4°F ~ 131°F (-20°C ~ 55°C) illustrates the BOXER-8641AI’s rugged deployment suitability. Further, its compact size and light weight mean its operation is not limited, enabling it to run industrial AMR and autonomous mining vehicle applications, where its object detection can offer elite logistics solutions for tight, industrial settings with low-visibility.

To channel the sophistication of the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin®, the BOXER-8641AI is equipped with a dense selection of features conducive to numerous vertical markets. With two GbE LAN and three USB 3.2 ports alongside 32GB LPDDR5x system memory and M.2 keys supporting 5G, Wi-Fi, and NVMe, the BOXER-8641AI ensures lightning-fast communication with peripheral hardware such as cameras and sensors which make it the ideal smart retail solution.
