Powered by the Intel® Processor N6210 and Intel® Processor J6426 Processor SoC (formerly Elkhart Lake), the UP Squared V2 offers a 40% improvement in CPU performance compared to the UP Squared, along with 1.7x the single-thread performance and 1.5x the multi-thread performance. Compounding this, the UP Squared V2 is equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR4 system memory, enabling faster data processing speed to optimize AI inferencing applications.
The UP Squared V2 also contains Intel® Gen11 UHD Graphics, which offers twice the performance of the previous generation, enabling the UP Squared V2 to support up to three simultaneous 4K displays via its HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2, and eDP 1.3 ports.
Boasting an enhanced expansion interface featuring M.2 2230 E-Key, M.2 2280 M-Key, and SATA III slots; the UP Squared V2 supports AI, PCIe, and Wi-Fi modules, as well as providing additional security via its TPM 2.0 port.
Dedicated High Definition Audio Support
Equipped with an already dense I/O, the UP Squared V2 is further tailored for user-friendly functionality, with a dedicated HD audio wafer removing the need to use the I2S on the board’s 40-pin HAT when incorporating audio features to applications.

While the UP Squared was only equipped with UART from 10 pin header, the UP Squared V2 contains an additional RS-232/422 pin header, providing a more user-friendly interface for industrial applications. The RS-232/422 pin also offers an increase in data transmission distance.
