The World’s First Pico-ITX with Intel Core Ultra Series 2, the PICO-ARU4

The PICO-ARU4 combines Intel® Core™ Ultra 200U CPUs with lockable I/O and power connectors for portable AI solution integration.

As the world's first Pico-ITX board equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Series 2) CPUs (formerly Arrow Lake), the PICO-ARU4 brings unprecedented power and potential to handheld and portable AI devices. Weighing just 81 grams and small enough to deploy anywhere, the PICO-ARU4 illustrates the potential of AI across new, dynamic markets.

Exceptionally Small, Yet Ultra-Powerful

Offering a choice of 15W Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor 255U or Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 Processor 225U platforms (formerly Arrow Lake), the PICO-ARU4 grants exceptional processing and inferencing performance. Fully utilizing the power-optimized core microarchitecture and Intel® DL Boost-accelerated graphics of its Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 foundation, the PICO-ARU4 can bring efficient on-device inference to space-constrained, mobile systems from day one.

Modular & Robust

Illustrating its suitability for deployment within outdoor roadside units or portable healthcare imaging devices is the PICO-MTU4’s versatile selection of rugged accessories. Ensuring robust connectivity between the board and peripherals such as cameras and sensors, as well as its power supply, the PICO-ARU4 is available with options for both a lockable DC jack and I/O connectors. Meanwhile, additional stability is available through the board’s optional DC-DC converter, which allows for broader 9V to 36V power inputs, ideal for remote deployment.

High-Speed, Multifunctional I/O

The PICO-ARU4 offers two LAN and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports for peripheral device support, as well as an array of internal connectors such as dual COM for RS-232/422/485, a 4-bit GPIO, and SMBus. This grants the board exceptional range across application scenarios, particularly for those requiring flexible compatibility with auxiliary equipment. Additionally, the board provides up to two simultaneous displays via eDP and HDMI, further emphasizing its use in portable diagnostic solutions.
