The MAX-Q670A is AAEON’s most advanced Micro-ATX Motherboards yet, expanding the project potential of the form factor with the aid of 12th and 13th Generation IntelR Core? processors. With twice the PCIe bandwidth and storage capacity, a diverse set of interfaces including four LAN ports, and strengthened security features; the MAX-Q670A provides the performance of an elite motherboard in a more compact form that is ideal for embedded solutions.
Doubling the bandwidth and frequency of its predecessors, the MAX-Q670A’s two 16-lane PCIe Gen 5 slots can host multiple graphics cards, which in combination with the board’s 2.5GbE LAN ports facilitate faster, more accurate inferencing performance for smart medical imaging and edge AI applications. Users also have the option to install two 8-lane cards per slot and still maintain Gen 5 speed.

Supporting 12th and 13th Gen IntelR Core? processors, the MAX-Q670A brings unprecedented performance to the Micro-ATX form factor. With up to 8 performance cores, 16 efficient cores, and 32 threads; the platform provides immense processing and sophisticated workload management for efficient task execution.
The MAX-Q670A’s interfaces offer everything needed to maximize peripheral device connectivity for applications such as edge gateways and ATMs. In particular, the MAX-Q670A offers up to four LAN ports with data rates of up to 2.5GbE via IntelR I225-LM ethernet. A DB-9 COM port and five RS-232 pin headers provide avenues for sensor installation, the performance of which is bolstered by the expedited data transmittance of the board’s DDR5 system memory.
The MAX-Q670A contains four bootable external USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, boosting data security. Further, its internal USB headers provide a switchable power feature for three USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, allowing users to reboot or reset peripheral devices remotely.
Double the Storage Capacity
More than twice the storage capacity of its predecessor, the MAX-Q670A hosts eight SATA III drives supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. Additionally, the board has even more options via two M.2 2242/2280 M-Key slots, which offer four-lane Gen 4 PCIe cards which also support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10.
