AAEON is delivering a pair of high-performance solutions with great expandability features to power industrial automation and edge computing applications, the BOXER-6840-CFL and BOXER-8332AI-CFL. Bringing the power of the 8th and 9th Generation Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processors (formerly Coffee Lake) in a system designed to more easily fit in where demanding applications are needed. Both systems offer a broad I/O loadout suitable to connect with a wide range of sensors, cameras, and controllers. Rugged construction enables deployment in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. The BOXER-6840-CFL offers expandability support with PCIe [x4] and PCIe [x16] slots designed to support actively cooled graphics cards up to 250mm long, while the BOXER-8332AI-CFL comes standard with the NVIDIA® T4 GPU, bringing AI Edge server capabilities to any industrial application.
The BOXER-6840-CFL and BOXER-8332AI-CFL support 8th and 9th Generation Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processors (formerly Coffee Lake, Coffee Lake Refresh) up to 71 TDP, delivering high-end performance.
Both systems feature a range of expansion slots, including PCIe [x4], PCIe [x16], two Mini Card slots and one M.2 slot, allowing the systems to easily adapt to any task. (BOXER-8332AI-CFL comes with NVIDIA® T4 pre-installed in PCIe [x16] slot).
The BOXER-8332AI-CFL comes standard with an expansion card bracket designed to secure expansion cards in high-stress environments, capable of withstanding 1G vibrations and up to 5G shock and drop events with the expansion card installed.
The BOXER-8332AI-CFL features a specialized fan duct system allowing it to support passively cooled GPUs in industrial environments. The BOXER-6840-CFL leverages its thermal design to support operation in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C.
Both systems are designed to deliver faster computing with up to 128GB of memory and M.2 NVMe support. Additionally, the systems include a wide range of I/O ports allowing more flexibility to connect with sensors, cameras, and controllers.
