AAEON has partnered with flexiWAN the leading provider of open-source SD-WAN software, to provide even more innovative and dynamic solutions with the self-certification of the FWS-2280 uCPE white box platform. Following the certification of the FWS-2280; customers now have the option to deploy flexiWAN software on AAEON hardware to combine the expertise behind AAEON’s hardware solutions with flexiWAN’s revolutionary open source SD-WAN and SASE solutions.
The FWS-2280 is built with 3 Mini PCIe slots (compatible-layout with M.2) to enable three wireless modules to be installed concurrently, giving customers the option allowing customers to run Wi-Fi ,4G and 5G modules at the same time. Alternatively, this allows users to run both Wi-Fi and LTE networks.
The FWS-2280 is powered by the Intel® Celeron® J6000/Pentium® N6000 series/Atom™ x6000E series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake), which give the FWS-2280 the power to run applications such as uCPE; SD-WAN, VPN, SMB, UTM, and Firewall. With up to 32 GB of RAM, the FWS-2280 is more than capable of running complex network programs.
Alongside the added security provided by its compatibility with firewall and VPN applications, the FWS-2280 has built-in AES-NI encryption, which secures inter-network communications and encrypts the data therein. Because of this, the FWS-2280 is perfect for workplaces. Further to this, the device also has redundant power support to secure your applications work 24/7 stably.
