With upgraded features such as audio and TPM 2.0, greater expandability, and faster system memory, the PICO-EHL1 presents the ideal solution for applications such as smart lockers, ATMs, and digital signage.
Equipped with audio functionality via an interface comprised of line-in, line-out, and microphone connectors, the PICO-EHL1 can add value to applications such as smart lockers by providing a more dynamic end user experience. Supporting dual-channel LVDS while offering eDP interface by colay design, the PICO-EHL1 offers flexibility to users for digital signage use, while keeping costs down due to the affordability and popularity of the LVDS interface in the LCD market.
The PICO-EHL1 supports discrete TPM 2.0; the most secure method to realize data security, granting it a streamlined mode of protecting important data. Full Disk Encryption (FDE), software license protection, and the prevention of cheating in online games provide exclusive value when deployed in ATMs and gaming machines, which require additional security.
Portable I/O Functions & Upgraded Storage
Internal LVDS, SMBus, and COM connectors make the PICO-EHL1 a discreet, low-powered solution for digital signage. Its BIO connector can utilize additional PCIe, GPIO, and serial port functions while a BIO (Board to Board I/O) connector grants even more cost-efficient portable connections. Enhancing this is the PICO-EHL1’s M.2 2242 B-Key and full size mPCIe/mSATA slot, which represent a substantial improvement on its predecessor.
Flexible System Memory
The PICO-EHL1 contains a SODIMM slot supporting up to 32GB of DDR4 system memory, enhancing the functional speed of its upgraded I/O while remaining competitively priced, a substantial improvement in both performance and capacity on the previous generation. In contrast to previous designs consisting of onboard system memory, users can install memory modules to suit their application’s needs, allowing for more flexibility.
